8 is Great
I was recently introduced (20 years late...) to the amazing series of eight-minute workouts available on YouTube. Yes, they're dated, but in an amusingly awesome kind of way: the hair, the spandex, the weeping willows! One of my favorite "Oh right, this is from the 80's" moments (as if you could forget) is during the 8 minute arms. The instructor says something to the effect of: "These will really make your shoulders look great. This is the reason women wear shoulder pads!" I'll admit, I totally paused after he said that. Did I really want to develop natural shoulder pads? I don't think I do, but I continued. And today, I can totally feel it (in a good way). New workout goal: do these every day. It's only eight minutes, plus eight minutes, plus eight minutes... :)
